This Month's Top Picks

I am no Gwyneth Paltrow and this is definitely not GOOP, so don't expect $1,000 price tags - but here is this month's round up of new restaurants, travel spots, recipes, and makeup available online and around Houston.

All things Lilly!

March in Houston means Spring has sprung! Well, it actually means it should have sprung - but Spring Break typically means thunderstorms and the weather not deciding but fluctuating between bitter cold and drastically hot humid variations.

Which is why Lilly Pulitzer is a must - she has the iconic styles that can easily pair a hot pink cashmere sweater with palm print shorts and matching low heeled sandals. Houston is blessed to have a Lilly store in Highland Village. But make sure you swing by The Frock Shop too - I got my cute clutch from the local women-owned business in Memorial. You can find them here.

Mi Pueblito es Mi Nuevo Amor

My new obsession besides a Diet Sunkist? Eating at Mi Pueblito. You can check out my video on YouTube shorts here which goes over the menu and the delicious options. If you are not keto or carnivore - you MUST try the empanadas. As my friend Tati (her family owns the restaurant) recommends, bite off the corner of the empanada, squeeze a lime slice in there and some cilantro dressing, and y’all. IT. IS. A. MOMENT.

There website is here, and it is located off of Richmond just South of Fondren.

EarlyBird and Armra Morning Cocktail

If you have followed me any length of time you know I start my day off with EarlyBird. I seriously haven’t been a day without it since August 2023. I think it has made the biggest difference in keeping me consistent with workouts and helping with my brain fog and fatigue.

It is truly clean energy, zero calories, zero sugar, 100% helps a tired momma get out of bed and do epic stuff (as Robin Arzon used to encourage on my Peloton rides!).
